Re: Explanation of the Operating Performance of 2007

Amata Corporation Public Company Limited (Amata) and its subsidiary companies would like to report the net profit of 1,055.04 million baht for the fiscal year 2007 ending on December 31, 2007. Compared with last year's operating performance of 780.87 million baht, the net profit has increased by 274.17 million baht or equivalent to 35 percent.

The fiscal year 2007 net profit increase can be explained by the following:

1. Revenue increases from land sales
Fiscal year 2007 had revenue from land sales of 3,424.80 million baht. Compared with the previous year of 2,557.56 million baht, the revenue increased 867.24 million baht or equivalent to 34% is due to the increasing of number of clients.

2. Revenue increases from recurring income and other income.
Fiscal year 2007 had revenues from recurring income and other income of 973.83 million baht. Compared with the previous year of 864.33 million baht, a revenue increase of 109.50 million baht or equivalent to 13% is due to the increasing of number of clients. The growth of clients will also provide a continuous increase the company's annual revenue of this sector. ]
