Re : Explanation on Dividend Policy

With reference to the Notification No. 26/2549 of the Federation of Accounting Professions regarding Accounting Standard No. 44 "Consolidated Financial Statements and Accounting for Investments in Subsidiaries" (Amendment No. 1), under which investments in subsidiaries, jointly controlled entities and associates are to be presented in the separate financial statements under the cost method rather than the equity method, the Company has adopted the cost method in 2007. This has an effect on the difference of disclosure of Company's performance in the consolidated financial statements from that in the financial statements of the Company only.

In order to make clear to all investors and shareholders, dividend distribution policy of the Company after the changing to cost method, The company to pay dividend at the rate of not less than 40% of the net profit disclosed in the financial statements of the Company only. And the Company shall not pay dividend if the Company records loss in the consolidated financial statements, or if after dividend distribution, the consolidated financial statements of the Company turns loss.
