Re : Report on Operating Performance of 2nd Quarter 2007
Amata Corporation Public Company Limited (Amata) and its subsidiary companies would like to report the net profit of 2nd quarter 2007 of 109.34 million baht, and that of the first six months 2007 of 258.13 million baht. When comparing the operating performance of 2nd quarter 2006 and the first six months 2006 with that of the same period last year, the net profit of 2nd quarter 2007 declined by 41.66 million baht, and the first six months net profit declined by 173.00 million baht.
The profit decline is due to a slow down in industrial estate land sales, reduced land revenue recognition, and an increase in our water utility costs.
