IN Brief: Amata sees good Q2

INDUSTRY :Amata Corp, the country's largest industrial estate developer, said yesterday that it expected its second-quarter sales to top those in the first quarter, mainly due to rising demand from Chinese investors.

"Demand from Chinese investors is growing and that has helped increase our sales," said director Viboon Kromadit after the company sold 169 rai of land worth about 543 million baht in the first quarter.

Amata shares closed yesterday on the SET at 13.90 baht, down 10 satang, in trade worth 5.1 million baht.
