Re: Explanation of the Operating Performance ended of December 2009
Amata Corporation Public Company Limited (Amata) would like to report the ended of December 31, 2009 operating performance of the company and its subsidiaries have of net profit of 318.52 million baht. When comparing with the operating performance of the same period of last year when we have the net profit of 1,192.30 million baht, the net profit of ended of year 2009 decreases by 873.78 million baht or equivalent to the decrease of 73.28%.
From the above, even though the Company has the net gain which is different amount from of the reserved tax amount for corporate income tax of Baht 225.72 million less additional cost of real estate of Baht 106.29 million. So, there is different amount of Baht 119.43 million as shown in the financial statement of the Company as an extraordinary item. Still, the operation performance of the Company has decreased due to the fact that the land sales business of the Company was down from the down turn of the world economics. The income from land sales of the Company of year 2009 decreased by 1,784.96 million or equivalent to 61.68% from that of last year.
